At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)
Scripture is very clear that there will come a day when every single person on this planet will bow down to Jesus and declare that He is Lord over everything. This means every Muslim, every Jew, every Buddhist, every Hindu, every atheist, and every agnostic will one day declare that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
You can declare that Jesus is Lord now, and reign with Him. You will come with Him and you will win with him. However, if you wait until after your life is over on this planet, you will find yourself under the great white throne of the judgment of God. There you will be judged according to the good you have done and the bad you have done. All it takes is one sin to send you to hell, where you will split hell wide open.
Judgment is to come! The only way you can miss that judgment is to give your life to Christ, and allow what He did for you on Calvary to set you totally forgiven and free.
It doesn’t make sense logically not to turn from sin and place your faith in Jesus. The most ridiculous thing anyone could do would be to fold their arms across their chest and say, “I don’t believe that and I’m not going to accept that. I think it’s illogical.” It is illogical for you to think that way, but that’s what sin does. It prevents you from seeing the truth. That is why God wants to set you free.
Today, if you have never given your life to Jesus, I pray that you would turn from your sin and place your faith in Him. That is the message all the way through the Bible. You might say, “That sounds too simple.” Why would God make the most important decision of your life difficult? You don’t have to jump through any hoops. All you have to do is bend your knee and turn from your sin and place your faith in Christ.
Are you there and ready to make that decision? This does not involve church membership. This does not mean baptism. This is not about communion. This is not a denominational thing. It entails bending your knee to declare that Jesus is Lord. With a bended knee, there is a bowed head of repentance and faith.
If you haven’t experienced Christ like that, I pray that you will give your life to Jesus. I pray that if you have given Jesus your life, you will live like that. Align your life, values, and resources to show you are not only identifying with Jesus when He comes again, but you are identifying with Him now when it is very tough to do so. Open your heart and your life to Jesus right now!
