    Aligning with His Purpose

    July 7, 2020

Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21)   Appearing behind locked doors, Jesus shows the disciples His scars. Before He does, He speaks to calm their fears, and give them a holy directive. Two different times, He says, “Peace be with you!” Think of that…

Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” (John 21:22)  In one of Christ’s post-resurrection appearances, we find Him alone on the shore where He had first called His fishermen. After the miraculous catch of Galilean fish, Simon Peter jumped out of the…

    Being There for Others

    July 3, 2020

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15) A person once said, “A real friend is one who comes in when the whole world goes out.” Wise words were never spoken so well. Often, we need someone with skin on to walk with us when our emotions are running the gambits. In those joyous…

When You Don’t Get the Answer

    July 2, 2020

“Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6)  Sometimes, we don’t know the right questions to ask! Why is that? Maybe, it’s because we are asking the wrong question at the wrong time. Possibly, because we have an agenda, the Lord is not currently wanting us to give our time and…
