When His Children Are Together

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." — Matthew 18:20
 
Have you ever felt God show up unexpectedly?
 
Jesus appeared to the disciples behind locked doors. They weren't expecting Him. They were huddled together, afraid, processing everything that had happened. And suddenly, there He was.
 
God loves to show Himself to His followers when they are together.
 
I remember one service years ago when we were singing and something shifted. It felt like the portal of heaven opened and the angels joined us in worship. One of our staff members walked in from another room and immediately burst into tears, sensing the presence of God. Before the song ended, I knew God was ready to move. When I invited people forward, half the congregation rushed to the front.
 
I will never forget that day.
 
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer" (Acts 2:42).
 
That's why gathering matters. Not to fill a seat, but to be present when God does something unexpected. You cannot predict when He will move, but you can position yourself to be there when He does.
 
If you've been watching from home when you could be present in person, you might be missing moments you'll never get back. There is power when God's children are focused on Him together in the same room.
 
Come expectantly. He just might show up.
