Nothing to Worry About
"In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will." — Ephesians 1:11
How much of your life do you spend worrying?
I love Christian comedians. Mike Goodwin tells about wisdom his grandmother imparted to him. She said, "Son, there are only two things you need to be concerned about. Whether you are healthy or sick. If you are healthy, you have nothing to worry about..." And the logic goes on through getting better or worse, living or dying, heaven or hell—until the punchline.
But here's the real wisdom: There are only two things you need to concern yourself with. Number one is whether you are in God's will right now. Number two is whether you are not in God's will.
If you are in the will of God right now, you don't have anything to worry about.
Think about that. Not "fewer things to worry about." Not "less intense worries." Nothing. Because when you're aligned with the One who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, what's left to fear?
He's handling your future. He's directing your steps. He's working all things together for good.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).
The question isn't whether God has a plan. He does. The question is whether you're in it.
If you're not in His will right now, that's where your concern should be—not on a hundred other worries, but on getting aligned with Him.
Find His will. Stay in His will. And watch your worries lose their power.
Being in the center of God's will is the most secure place you can stand. Nothing to worry about.

I pray for guidance and direction to be in the center of God's will ?
May I stay in God's will to always be aligned with Him.
I have worked custody at a max prison for 33 years. God has been with me and I live a worry free life with a smile on my face. This does draw questions from the inmates and the other staff. My answer, Praise God, isn't He wonderful!!
