The Power of Your Story
"God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it." (Acts 2:32)
When Peter stood up at Pentecost, he didn't just quote Scripture—though he did plenty of that. He didn't just explain theology—though his teaching was rock solid. What grabbed hearts that day was when he said, "We are all witnesses of it." Peter shared his experience with Jesus.
Here's what I want you to understand: your personal testimony is incredibly powerful. People are fascinated by experiences. Think about it—millions of people watch YouTube videos of folks sharing how to fix a thermostat or catch fish. If people will watch stories about "Bigfoot," they'll certainly listen to your story about Christ!
I was reminded of this recently when someone used Jesus' name inappropriately in conversation with my wife and me. Without hesitation, she stopped him and asked, "So are we going to pray about this?" He immediately apologized. Sometimes we need to boldly stand up for the name that is above all names.
But here's the beautiful thing about your testimony—it's uniquely yours. No one can argue with your experience. When Peter said, "we are witnesses," he was saying, "I've seen Him. I've walked with Him. I know Him personally." That's the power of personal encounter with Jesus.
Have you had that encounter? Can you point to a time when you moved from knowing about Jesus to knowing Jesus personally? If so, don't keep that story to yourself. People need to hear how Christ has changed your life.
Your story matters more than you realize. It might be exactly what someone needs to hear today to take that step from knowing about Jesus to truly knowing Him. Will you be bold enough to share it?

I march in 2025.
n
nMy husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He had a tumor the size of my fist.
nI felt defeated and started to wonder why, until it dawn on me: this is not me; I will not be defeated.
nI prayed to my God and pleaded for his help. While I was praying, I saw Jesus standing at the front door where my husband was sleeping. I started to talk with him. I told him, "I see your feet; please walk toward my husband's bed." He reached my husband's bed. I asked him to put his hand on his belly, and he did. Then I told him, "I want the tumor gone completely," and the rest is quite a testimony. He aligned every appointment just to verify that the tumor was completely gone. He was diagnosed on a Friday, and he removed the tumor on Saturday, the day after. God is an awesome God. The same God that performed miracles back in the day still performs miracles today. Please have faith in God. Thank you, Father, thank you, Jesus, and thank you, Holy Spirit. I can honestly say that I personally know Jesus.
Little by little I have been sharing some of my experiences with Jesus. Even a lot of Christians, have not had close experiences with Jesus. I love talking with my Savior.
