Sharing Your Story
From Attalia they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. – Acts 14:26-27
I firmly believe that every believer needs to be in the habit of sharing how God is working in their life. The Bible tells us that Paul and Barnabas went back home to Antioch to share what God had done through their ministry. The Greek word here really means to be a messenger, to be reporting. They gathered the church together as believers (not a building), and they shared what God was doing among the Gentiles. They shared all that God had orchestrated through them. They shared verbally what God had done.
In the same way, we need to be sharing what God is doing in our lives. If you have a story, you need to share it. You never know how God wants to use your story to impact and influence others.
Do you have a story of healing? Share it with those who are hurting.
Do you have a story of hope? Share it with those who are hopeless.
Do you have a story of deliverance? Share it with those who are stuck.
Do you have a story of provision? Share it with those who are in need.
Do you have a story of redemption? Share it with those who are lost.
Do you have a story of victory? Share it with those who are discouraged.
Revelation 12:11 tells us that we conquer the enemy by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and the word of our testimony. We claim the victory that is rightfully ours in Christ Jesus when we share our stories and our testimonies with others. When we have the boldness to talk to others about what God has done and is doing in our lives, powerful things happen. Don’t you want to take part in that?

I do believe others need to hear our story. I need to do more of that. Those around me need to know that there is hope for them
I used to tell my story of healing, redemption and hope but somewhere down the line I started feeling stuck but I'm starting to take steps to get out of stuck mode. I know what a wonderful good God we have. I put my trust in him
John-Quit slacking off and start paying attention, that's what a worldly man would tell you that didn't mix his words.
nGod tells us to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ. I would encourage you to stick to the basics and keep your faith strong and growing. That means doing what God tells you to do, for example read the Bible, read His word daily and listen to what he tells you to do. Pay attention. Build up a strong relationship with Jesus, pray daily and talk to him about your troubles and listen to him. Pay attention and do not give up. With time your faith and confidence will grow and in all circumstances you will find joy and peace. God says pray all day and be thankful in all circumstances. If you trust in God and believe and keep your faith strong, eventually, you will find everything that I have said to be true and directly taken from the Bible. Search for all these things in the Bible and you will find them, because Jesus is the truth, He is the word and has been from the beginning. ?
I've been feeling stuck for some time now wanting to be on fire for Jesus again so that I can share my testimonies with others. Maybe it's all the circumstances in life that I'm going through. Does anybody have any suggestions ? Thank you.

I agree with Jeff. I think just living out the Christian walk loving your neighbor as yourself. Look around for needs right in your own faimly and neighborhood and pray and ask the Lord how He might use you right where you are. I lost my brother and sister to alcoholism within 5 days of each other and then my mom 3 years later to cancer. It was a very emotional and stressful time. My prayer was Lord help me to love my brothere my sister and my mom right where they are . Be my hands and feet, give me Your eyes to see and Your ears to hear and Your heart to love them right where they are. And, just pray and wait to see how the Lord leads . And, if you see a need that you can meet and you feel led by the Lord to meet that need, That's a good start, I believe. And, pray, pray, pray for lost souls. We can always do that to God be the glory.Amen. ?
