The Power To Restore
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Ephesians 4:32
Going out of your way to reinstate someone who hurt you is a tall order, but that is exactly what Jesus did. And this is just the opposite of what our culture teaches. Our culture says, “If someone hurt you, maligned you, damaged you or your reputation, destroy them, reject them, and ignore them.” That is not what God chooses to do. His children are to reflect the character, image, and lifestyle of God.
If you have truly experienced the forgiveness and the grace of God, you have the ability to forgive someone who has sought to destroy you. You must have the spiritual maturity to re-establish broken relationships. The person who hurt you will seldom seek to restore the relationship, but you can re-establish that relationship.
Jesus displayed this beautifully after His resurrection when He restored Peter. Peter had denied Him three times, yet Jesus didn’t reject or ignore him. Instead, He went out of His way to reinstate Peter, showing grace and love beyond human understanding (John 21:15-17).
Restoring broken relationships doesn’t mean excusing the hurt, but it does require reflecting God’s heart. If we have experienced His forgiveness, we are empowered to extend it to others. This kind of forgiveness takes spiritual maturity, but it also reveals God’s transformative work in our lives.

Please pray for my son and his dad. That they seek the word of God for 3 days to gain understanding from His word to restore their relationship. Thank you for sharing each day. ??
Sometimes it is very hard to be forgiving. I have found that I can pray for those people that they can find meaning to their lives.
I really enjoy reading all Scripture and verses from your Ministry.
