Be Ready For Interruptions
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. – Proverbs 19:21
No matter how much wisdom, prayer, or preparation goes into it, every plan will experience interruptions. That’s exactly what happened to John the Baptist, as we discussed yesterday. Do you think he planned to go to prison? That was never in the back of his mind. It wasn’t part of his plan.
The same is true for us. We all face unexpected detours in life. When you get married, you imagine a “happily ever after,” but sometimes life doesn’t unfold that way. Maybe a health diagnosis came out of nowhere. Maybe something happened with your kids, and now your family is facing challenges you never saw coming. Maybe it’s your job—there was a time when people worked at the same company for decades, but now stability feels uncertain.
Life’s interruptions can shake us, and in those moments, doubts begin to creep in. But no matter how spiritual you are, no matter how well you plan, you must make room for interruptions. The good news is that God is never surprised. He is still in control, even when our plans change. His purpose will always prevail.

I have had lots of interruptions in my life. I have learned to go with them to see where they lead. Most of the time, I needed to learn more about God's way and to improve on myself. To be more productive for the sake of Christ
