Faith That Doesn't Need Answers
The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you." — Genesis 12:1
Faith is the willingness to go with God without knowing where, without knowing when, and without knowing how.
That's not easy. We want our prayers answered. We want God to lay it all out for us logically. But God often calls us to move before we have all the answers.
Many of you are struggling with the where. "Where do you want me to be, God?" Maybe you're unemployed. Maybe you're at a pivotal point in your career. God has been silent. Living with that tension is not easy.
Some of you are wrestling with the when. You know God has given you a direction, but you don't know the timing. You're ready at the starting blocks, but you haven't heard the gun go off. Maybe God hasn't given you the when because you're not ready to run the race.
When I was in college, God called me to preach. I was excited. Little did I know how unprepared I was. I had the excitement, but not the substance. I had the drive, but not the fuel. God did not open up opportunities until I got the fuel.
Billy Graham was asked, "If you knew Jesus was coming back in five years, and God called you to preach and you had never been trained, what would you do?" He said, "I would prepare and study for four years and then preach in the last year well prepared."
Many people outrun God and don't finish the journey because they've operated on fumes without real gasoline.
Abraham was the father of faith. God told him to leave his country, his people, and his father's household and go to a land God would show him. Abram didn't know where he was going. He knew God wanted him to cut ties with his family, with all his security, and go on a journey with God.
If you're a child of God, you'll always be on a journey. You must be ready for the next step. Don't think you've arrived. You'll never arrive until you see Jesus face to face.
Trust Him even when you don't know where, when, or how. That's real faith.

That is true faith but sometimes we are afraid to go to somewhere we do not know, we all need to trust in the Lord.
LORD : JUST HELP ME TO TRUST YOU TODAY. AND OBEY AND LISTEN. WE MOVE SO QUICK AND DON'T STOP TO LISTEN. WE NEED TO BE STILL AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE WITH US. THAT IS A DAY TO DAY CHALLENGE IN ALL OUR LIVES. THANK GOD , WE DO HAVE VICTORY OVER SATAN, BECAUSE HE'S GOING TO TRY TO BUST UP OUR DAY AND LEAD US ASTRAY. DON'T LET HIM .STAY CLOSE TO JESUS. TRUST. TRUST. TRUST. I LOVE YOU LORD.
I know that having me leave a church that I loved and move on to a smaller one that seems to be dying out was not my plan. I had years of being fueled up first. The pastor of the church knows that it only takes a few obedient Christians to be reaching out to a world of lost people. I will stay close to Jesus my Redeemer.
