A Brand New Glimpse Of Jesus
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)
I want to tell you about Helen Howard Lemmel. She was a singer who had a successful career in the Midwest. She was a music teacher at Moody Bible Institute for years and years. She wrote over 500 hymns, poems and songs. She continued to write until her death at 97 years of age in 1961.
After going through a dark time of chaos and confusion in her life, she went through adult blindness. She was abandoned by her husband because she lost her sight. After those experiences, she wrote a special song (published in 1918) that we sing even today. She penned these words,
“Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”
(by Helen Howard Lemmel)
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of this earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.”
Sometimes, when you are going through difficult, chaotic, distressful events (whether personally or globally), that is when God gives you a fresh glimpse of Himself to you. The things which flow out of your life will become a blessing for those around you, and for those who come behind you. It all happens when you get a Heavenly Perspective. I pray you would camp there today and look heavenward to see what God has for you.

Father god thank you for sending your angels to deliver this message to me as I heal. You make me feel better everyday as I get closer to being free of the negative thoughts about what is currently going on in my life. I am a believer that this to shall pass. Thank you and Amen.
I have things happening in my life that I am told older people shouldn't have to go through. I am hoping I will be able to use my experiences to help others through such things. May I always look to my Heavenly Father to be with me always ❤
