The Question That Changes Everything
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." — Romans 10:13
One day, when I stand before God, if the Lord should say, "Curt, why should I let you into my heaven?" what would I say?
I could say, "I was Pastor of Westside Church for over two decades." But I wouldn't.
I could say, "Lord, you know all those theological degrees I worked for. I studied Greek and Hebrew." But I wouldn't.
I could say, "Remember all the good stuff I've done." But I wouldn't.
I could say, "Lord, I got sprinkled as a Presbyterian, dunked as a Baptist, and baptized after I gave my life to Christ. That water should get me in." But I wouldn't.
I could say, "I've lost count of how many times I've taken communion." But I wouldn't.
Instead, I would say, "Lord, do you remember that Monday afternoon after school in the sixties when I got down on my knees, admitted my sin, and invited you to take control of my life? Lord, I gave my life to Jesus and turned from sin."
That's the correct answer.
Have you had that experience? Have you had that life-changing moment of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Church membership doesn't do it. Being raised in church doesn't do it. Knowing about Jesus doesn't do it. Being a good person doesn't do it.
Many of us go through the motions and confuse church membership with conversion. I pray you would not be conflicted in that area. If you have never given your life to Christ, I pray today would be that day.
If you have given your life to Christ, stay in love with Jesus. Don't let your love grow cold. Today could be the reset button for your commitment.
He will give you everything you need to sustain you, regardless of what you go through.

Amen Amen
Yes,I have given my heart and life to Jesus. I love Him and He loves me so much more.
I gave my whole heart to my Jesus, in May, 2003. I've surrendered my ALL to Him. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Thank you for everything, My Lord & Savior
