The Gospel Changes Everything
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes." — Romans 1:16
Ministry isn't about buildings or budgets. It's about the Gospel changing real people in real time.
When Paul arrived in that Greek city, he didn't show up with a marketing plan or a five-year strategy. He brought something far more powerful: the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And that Gospel — not his charisma, not his credentials — transformed an entire community.
I think about this when I remember places like Nebraska — those landscapes you never forget, where life feels simple but significant. Paul's time in Greece probably felt similar. Just a man on a mission, sharing the truth about Jesus, and watching God do immeasurably more than anyone could have imagined.
The same Gospel that transformed that city is the Gospel you carry today. Wherever you are — at work, at home, in your neighborhood — the message of Jesus has power. Not because you're impressive, but because He is.
Too often we make ministry complicated. We think we need the perfect strategy or the ideal circumstances. But what if it's simpler than that? What if God is just looking for people willing to open their mouths and share what Christ has done? People who will live authentically, love genuinely, and point others to the cross?
That's what Paul did. And that church flourished.
You don't need to be a professional minister to make an eternal difference. You just need to believe that the Gospel you've received is powerful enough to change anyone. Because it is.
So, who is God calling you to reach today? Stop overthinking it. Just be faithful. Bring the Gospel. And watch what God does.
