Present to Win

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another." — Hebrews 10:24-25
 
Can you do church from your couch?
 
After COVID, a lot of people discovered they could watch services remotely. The technology works. The convenience is undeniable. And for some, it became permanent. Why fight traffic when you can stream in your pajamas?
 
But here's what Paul understood about the early church: ministry happens when lives intersect. Not through screens. Through presence.
 
Paul told the Thessalonians, "You are our crown." Not the content he delivered. Not the sermons he preached. The people. Individual lives that his life had touched because he was there with them.
 
You need to be involved in a local church. Not watching one. Involved in one.
 
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20).
 
Don't lean back on technology and accessibility as a substitute for physical presence. There are people who need you, and you need them. That kind of ministry doesn't happen through a screen.
 
Small groups. Sunday mornings. Serving side by side. That's where real discipleship takes place. That's where encouragement flows. That's where you become part of something bigger than yourself.
 
If you've been coasting on remote attendance, it's time to move your feet. Find a place. Show up. Get connected.
 
You need to be present to win.
