Resisting Evil Through Prayer
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
I want to ask a few questions. When is it right to resist? Is there a right time to resist? What does God’s Word say about resistance? What part does prayer play in our decision to resist?
If you are going to resist, do so in order to not sin against God. There is a higher authority than any government, any employer or any marital partner. We are to align our lives with the law of God, the Bible.
If you are going to resist, do so in order to preserve life. Neither the government nor the individual has the right to murder someone. As a child of God, we operate under a higher law. If you are going to resist, do so in order to combat evil. We know what is evil and what is not. We know that the Word of God is our guide.
Finally, if you are going to resist, do so in prayer. That is one of the greatest resistance tools that you could ever use. If something needs changing, do it through prayer. When it aligns with His perfect will, God will take the next step.

Agreed 👍 !!! Evil has no power in the Presence of Our Lord and Savior .... So our prayers to Our God are the most Powerful Weapons we possess against the evil one !! Therefore, in "All situations" pray 🙏 to Your Lord, Jesus Christ, who Loves and Cares for His Children. Lord, help us remember Your Commands and lessons for our lives ... -amen-
Yes, we need to be in constant prayers about any decisions. We need to stand on God's Word for answers to any situation.
I have learned that Prayer is Way I must begin Each New Day The Lord Blesses Me with. All Things are in God's Hands. Seek His Word and He Will Never Fail. Thank YOU FATHER !
