Waiting for Healing
Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him. (1 Samuel 16:23)
Waiting for healing can be a long and agonizing process. When you are in pain, experiencing discomfort, and need help; you want the Lord to intervene immediately. You want Him to remove this struggle from your life as soon as possible. However, healing doesn’t always happen instantly. In fact, it often takes time. In the meantime, there are several things you can do to draw near to the Lord in the midst of your pain:
If you are experiencing pain, hurt, or suffering; I encourage you to implement these three things into your schedule this week. Carve out time to worship your Heavenly Father, read His Word, and serve His people. You will be amazed at what He can accomplish in and through you as you take these simple steps of obedience.
- Worship. Taking the time to worship and praise the Lord is very powerful. Scripture tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. David chose to praise in the midst of his waiting season. Paul and Silas praised God after they had been beaten in Philippi. Each of these men found hope and comfort in praising God. You can do the same if you choose to worship Him when you are enduring difficult circumstances.
- Read. If you want to know what God is doing, you have to read His Word. If you want to hear God speak, you need to study Scripture. Paul reminds us, Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17) You need to be a student of God’s Word and allow His Word to speak to you and encourage you in your pain and suffering.
- Serve. There is something incredible that happens in your soul when you are intentional about serving other people. Paul encourages us, Share with God’s people who are in need. (Romans 12:13) Regardless of whether you are suffering physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually; you can still impact God’s Kingdom with your service. You never know how God could use you to impact someone who is walking a path similar to yours.
If you are experiencing pain, hurt, or suffering; I encourage you to implement these three things into your schedule this week. Carve out time to worship your Heavenly Father, read His Word, and serve His people. You will be amazed at what He can accomplish in and through you as you take these simple steps of obedience.

May I be a faithful servant and student for the sake of Christ
Being a dishwasher for a well-known restaurant in my city, I feel that God is using me for the right reasons. Yes, it is a very tough job doing dishes, filling ice, helping others, bussing tables when needed, and etc. People have told me that I am always cheerful, humbled, and joyful during the toughest times in our day, WHY? It's cause Jesus Christ is my focus. I try and put my focus on knowing that I am serving the Lord and working for Him. He is preparing me to be a servant in the Kingdom of Heaven when the Great Feast arrives. Well someone got to clean up from the Feast. Might as well use me as His child and skillful servant. It is an honor to work for Jesus.
I recently experienced the miraculous healing power of God! Out of nowhere I began having symptoms like the woman with the issue of Blood. I went to my Dr and they did tests and CT scan and found nothing. I was referred to a urologist and eventhough it appeared to get worse before it got better. I am not moved by what I see; I stand on the promises of God according to Psalms 103 and today I am miraculously healed without any Dr help! Praise God!
Healing Will come TO Those Who Trust The LORD. Thank You FATHER GOD, PRAISE JESUS !
