Jesus Is
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
Jesus is a life changer! He has changed my life and the lives of countless millions over the centuries. People have said these things about Christ:
Napoleon Bonaparte, on the island of St. Helena said this, “I know men and I tell you that Jesus Christ is not a mere man. Superficial minds may see a resemblance between Christ and the founders of world empires and the gods of other religions for these resemblances do not exist. There is between Christ and whatever other religions of the world a distance of infinity.”
William Shakespeare said, “I commend my soul into the hand of God, my Creator, through the merit of Jesus Christ to give me everlasting life.”
Lord Byron said, “If ever a man was God, or God was man, Jesus Christ was both.”
James Greenleaf Whittier said, “My ground of hope for myself and humanity is the divine fullness of love which is manifested in the life and teachings and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.”
Charles Dickens said, “I commit my soul to the mercy of God through our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Leo Tolstoy said, “Five years ago, however, my faith came to me. I believed in Jesus Christ and my whole life underwent a sudden and drastic transformation. Life and death cease to be an evil and a fear. Instead of despair, I tasted joy and happiness that death could not take away.”
What do you say about Jesus? Do you make it known to everyone that you are a fully committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ? Living a life that honors Him is very important, and God’s Word tells us to speak your allegiance to Him publicly. Today, deliberately tell others who He is. Jesus Christ was with God in the beginning and He is God! Say His name right now: Jesus! Keep talking about Him all day!
