One Day You Will Give An Account
So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. – Romans 14:12
Each of us carries the weight of accountability before God. It's a sobering truth that every soul will one day stand before Him to give an account of their life—every word spoken, every thought entertained, and every action taken.
Yet, those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ can rest assured. Through faith, we are enveloped in His righteousness, seen by the Lord just as He sees Jesus—pure and blameless. This gift of grace extends beyond the bounds of earthly existence; it opens the gates of eternity, granting us the privilege of dwelling in the presence of God forever.
However, before we reach that moment of standing before God, we bear the responsibility of how we respond to Jesus in this life. Our thoughts about Him, our attitudes towards His teachings, and our actions rooted in faith—all of these are subject to divine scrutiny. God holds us accountable for our response to the message of Christ while we are on this earth.
In this understanding lies both challenge and opportunity. It challenges us to contemplate the depth of our commitment to Christ, urging us to align our lives with His teachings and example. And it also presents an opportunity—an invitation to embrace the transformative power of faith and to live in a manner that honors the sacrifice of our Savior.
With all of this in mind, I want to challenge you to approach each day with a heart surrendered to Christ, mindful of the accountability you bear before God. Be diligent in making sure your thoughts, words, and deeds reflect the grace and truth found in Jesus. As you live this way, you’ll be able to live with eager anticipation of the day when you will stand before Him, clothed in His righteousness, and welcomed into His presence for all eternity.

As long as you have a good relationship with Jesus and talk to Him daily, nothing else matters, not even your own temptation to convince yourself otherwise. Jesus is the truth and the life and the only way...ðŸ™ðŸ˜
