Finding Peace In God’s Plan
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. – Proverbs 19:21
Many people are like a pinball in a pinball machine; we bounce off the sides all over the place, not sure where we need to be or where we’re going to end up.
Thankfully, God has a plan, and He will get you where you need to be. His perfect will is when you say “Yes” to Jesus and you learn to say “Yes” to Him every day. Living with that kind of surrender and humility will give you the greatest peace.
Do you remember the movie, “Karate Kid?” Daniel was being taught by his mentor, Mr. Miyagi, how to do karate to defend himself. He said, “Come to my house and I'll teach you karate.” Miyagi had him do several chores, like painting and waxing. He told him, “Wax on, wax off.” He finally looked at Daniel and said, “Let me give you the key to karate.” He told him, “Breathe in, breathe out, wax on, wax off.”
Being in God's will is the key to the greatest peace in your life, just like breathing the way Mr. Miyagi described. We need to be aligned with God in order to experience that kind of peace.
If you are confused about God's plan and God’s will, what do you do? If you have been praying and heaven is silent, don’t do anything. Rest in Him. Trust that He’s working on your behalf, even when you can’t see it. Believe that He’s preparing you for what He has in store, just like Mr. Miyagi was preparing Daniel.
We serve a trustworthy God who has a perfect plan and will for us. Let’s find peace in that truth today.

May I wait on the Lord. May I receive His peace
Waiting on the Lord can be the hardest thing to do, the silence can be deafening. But wait we must for His calling and direction.
Exodus 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." | just went through 11 months of "being still" and waiting on God to reveal His plan. During the months of waiting, letting go and being still I, learned a deeper level of trusting in Him. I recalled scriptures when I wanted to get ahead of the Lord, using that wait for my good. Yes, the Lord had a plan, I grew in my faith and a deeper trust in Him. Another scripture I read daily was Is 41:10 & 13 " So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 13 For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you".
Lynda Isaiah 41:10-13 is truly encouraging
