Celebrating Through Baptism

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. – Acts 2:38

Likewise, baptism doesn't save us. It's not like a magic spell that washes away our sins. Only Jesus can do that. Baptism is more like a public announcement of what's already happened in our hearts. It’s an outward declaration of an inward decision to give your life to Christ. When we choose to follow Jesus, it's a big deal! And baptism is a way to tell the world about it.

Imagine you're at a party, and everyone's celebrating because you've joined the team. That's what baptism is like. It's a joyful moment where we declare to everyone that we belong to Jesus.

So, if you've already decided to follow Jesus, your next step is to get baptized! It's an awesome way to show others what God has done in your life. Jesus loves you so much, and He's inviting you to follow His example and show others that you’re choosing to live the rest of your days surrendered to Jesus.
