Stand for the Truth 

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)  
 
When we live in a culture that has decided to go by its playbook, rather than God's plan, we find ourselves upside down. Unfortunately, we think we are right-side-up. Our children and grandchildren are being inoculated by our culture and our media, with everything that is biblically wrong. Living together has become so acceptable that many students and children don't understand that it is called “adultery.” We have made excuses for our sexual behavior. That's why the judgment of God is coming.   
  
As believers, we need to make sure that we don't mind taking a stand for what is right. You might say, “I want to stand for what is right, but I don't want to offend anyone.” When you stand for what is right and stand on the Word of God, you will offend some people. My mom used to tell me, “Son, if you want to get people all sideways with you, talk about religion or politics.” I can't help it because the Word of God says that judgment is coming on this planet because of our politics and our “new religion.” This new religion is nothing other than the old satanic agenda.  
  
I want to encourage you today: stand tall and don't back down. I know that you might have family members (some are biological and some are extended) who have different opinions than you. You work with people who have a different mindset, and you have sought to give them all the grace in the world. Remember, God wants His church to be The Church. As children of God, be salt and light, even in areas that don’t want salt and places that don't want light. You are to stand as a witness against all odds. As long as God gives you breath, you don't have to be angry with people. You just need to stand for the truth.   
  
Stand for the truth! When you stand for the truth, you are standing with Jesus. That is what He calls you to do.
