Who’s On Your Heart?
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2
When Jesus says to give to the needy, we might ask: Who are the needy? They may not look like it. It could be your boss, dealing with pressure. A coworker whose marriage is on the rocks. Someone too proud to ask for help, or too self-conscious to admit they have a need. Often, we pass by people carrying deep burdens, but we don’t notice until they fall apart. Then we say, “If I had only known…”
We need to pay attention to the tug in our hearts. Not every need is ours to meet, but if God brings someone to mind, that may be His invitation to act. That person might not be able to give anything back. They may never know it was you. But that’s the beauty of secret giving—it reflects the heart of Jesus.
Tithing is important. It’s biblical. God says in Malachi 3:10, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse.” But our giving shouldn’t stop there. God may call us to meet a need that has nothing to do with an offering plate. When He does, we must respond—not for applause or recognition, but simply because we want to honor Him.
So today—who’s on your heart?
Don’t wait for a sign or a spotlight. You don’t need to ask, “Is this a tax-deductible gift?” Just trust God and move in the direction He’s nudging you. Be a secret giver, a blessing-bringer, and someone who lives for the applause of heaven.

May I follow the Lord's prompting and be a blessing bringer
When I tithe i put cash in the offering plate because I don't want to file taxes on it I want to give freely with no recognition
