The Enemy Is a Liar
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith…” - 1 Peter 5:8-9
There’s something very important I need you to know: the enemy of your soul is a liar. You are in a spiritual battle. There are unseen forces all around you, desiring to have your life, your influence, promote your failure, and celebrate your destruction.
You are not insulated from the war; you are in the crosshairs of the evil one. Your enemy is not the Democrats. Your enemy is not the Republicans or the Independents. Your enemy is not your boss, your neighbor, or even your family. The enemy of your soul is Satan and his demonic forces.
Scripture tells us that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion. But just because he attempts to win the spiritual battle doesn’t mean he will be successful. We know from reading Scripture that Jesus is the victor. But even with this knowledge, too many believers act like they are the victim.
From the Garden of Eden, we see how the evil one works: he lies by questioning the Word of God, distorting the Word of God, questioning God’s love for you, saying God is withholding something from you, and seducing you to do what God prohibits. These lies lead us to sin, and that sin produces shame. And shame paralyzes you. It destroys your spiritual progress, making you believe that you are a failure and will always be a failure. It makes you want to hide from God, to cover your sin instead of owning it.
But shame does not get the final word. The enemy may lie to you, but God has already spoken. You are not hopeless. You can break free. And you can find victory because you belong to Jesus.

AMEN! TO GOD BE THE GLORY. SATAN YOU ARE DEFEATED. I HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS. PRAISE THE LORD. AND LORD THANK YOU FOR SENDING YOUR ANGELS THAT SURROUND US 24/7.
The devil is very crafty in how he works. I am so thankful that I have God's Word to read and digest. Thank You Lord Jesus for being in my life.
I cry a lot because of the estrangement of my daughter and my relationship. She has narcissistic personality a n d i’m tired of being disrespected. I’m 82 years old and tired. I pray that i can leave this with God.
