A Life Of Holiness
Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you. – Deuteronomy 6:18
Today, let’s talk about the power of holiness. The word “holy” means “set apart for God.” As believers and as His children, we have been set apart for Him and Him alone. Therefore, everything we do, everything we say, and everything that we post on some social media platform should be right and good. If it doesn't honor God, don't do it, period! If there is a check in your mind about what you are about to post or be involved in, then avoid doing it. That should be a signal that you don't need to be involved in it.
You might say, “This is a simple message. It is easier said than done.” Do you know why? Because we don't have much support from our culture. In fact, our culture is at war with the Word of God.
We have become a generation that has decided we can describe morality without religion. We think we are a law unto ourselves. The Bible says, “In the last days, men will gather teachers who will tickle their ears or say to them what they want to hear.” The truth is that our culture and our media do not align with the Word of God.
As His children, we are to be a reflection of God. Holiness is not outdated—it is vital. You have been called to live differently. Holiness begins with a heart fully devoted to Him. When you delight in the Lord, He will give you the right desires. Stay set apart. Stay surrendered. Stay in step with the Spirit. That’s what living a life of holiness looks like.

May I stay in step with the Holy Spirit
Thank you for this reminder, Dr. Dobbs. Yes, Betty, may I be in step with the Holy Spirit too!
