Amazing Power
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
Do you ever struggle with feeling powerless? Are you feeling the weight of the burdens of life crushing down on your shoulders? Do you feel like you’re never going to be able to overcome the difficult and painful circumstances you’re facing right now?
If you answer yes to any of those questions, be encouraged. As a follower of Christ and a member of God’s family, you have the same power within you that God used to raise Jesus from the dead. That’s some amazing power! And it’s power that we shouldn’t forget we have available to us every single day.
If you have turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ, you are forgiven. You are acceptable to God. You are a citizen of the Kingdom of God. And therefore you are full of the power of the Holy Spirit, full of fruit, and full of gifts that God will use.
God wants you to use that power and to be confident in embracing the power that’s available to you. Accordingly, take today’s key Scripture passage to heart when it says, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
Whatever you’re facing today, you can face with the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t back down. Instead, move forward with this amazing power!
