Are You Thirsty?
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10:13
I truly believe that one of the biggest problems in our country is that we are not thirsty enough. How long will it take for us to realize how dry we are? The moment we come to that dryness and cry out, “Oh, Jesus, save me, help me, change me, make me yours,” that's when we will feel and sense the life-giving water of the River of Life flowing through each and every one of us.
Would you consider yourself thirsty right now? Are you feeling unsatisfied, lacking, or like you’re missing something? Only Jesus Christ, the Living Water, can quench your thirst. Only He can satisfy you. Only He can meet your every need. But first, you must admit that you are thirsty and that you need Him.
He is always reaching out to you, always knocking on the door of your heart, and always drawing you to Himself. Now is your time to respond.
If you have never sensed that drawing of the Spirit of God and you do today, I pray that you would respond to Christ, without any doubt, and without any hesitation. Don't try to figure it out; just respond to the tug of the Spirit of God. I pray that you would become more than informational, factoid, treasure hunters. Too many people want information, but not transformation. Instead, you need to change with the transforming power of the Spirit of God. I pray that today, if God is walking by the front door of your heart, you would say, “Yes!"

There was a time when I was thirsty. I felt like I was a puzzle with a piece missing. A friend helped guide me to the well that quenched my thirst. Now I am thirsty for the Word but am whole in Christ.
