Better Days Are Coming
“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” (Isaiah 65:17)
I love our earth. I have had a chance to live on the ocean and live in the mountains, and they are gorgeous. I have had a chance to be in Switzerland and see the Swiss Alps. I have had a chance to be in a lot of different places, and every place has great beauty. It is very unique as you look at all of the beautiful creation of God. When you look up into the heavens, you realize that there are millions and billions of stars out there declaring the glory of God. You have to think to yourself and say, “It is beautiful enough as it is.”
If God is planning to wipe all that out and start over anew, remember that God always does something greater than the former. We have no idea what the future holds; it is way beyond our pay grade! The Bible says He will create a New Heaven and a New Earth. Compared to what you are used to now, you will have to learn everything over again. There will be new surroundings, new colors, new images, and new smells, and everything will be new.
He chose our planet to show His great love with His Son. And one day it will all be gone. But that means He is going to create a New Heaven and a New Earth. Isn’t that an amazing thing for us to look forward to? As beautiful as what we have now is, something better is coming. And honestly, I think we would all be better off if we believed that about every aspect of our lives.
Maybe things are going really well for you right now. Maybe you’re really enjoying life. As good as things are right now, one day they will be even better. And if you’re on the other side of the coin and life isn’t treating you well lately, you can also trust that one day things will get better. God is going to make all things new. We can have hope that better days are ahead. May you find peace and comfort in that hope today.

That will be an amazing time. Something I am excitedly waiting to see and experience.

If one day God creates a new Heaven and New Earth. Who stays in heaven and who will live on Earth. If it happens in a few years if your spouse is in heaven and your on earth, does he let you be together or do you still have to be living separately?
