Boldly Standing For Christ
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
I used to love to snow ski. One time, I was skiing on one of the mountains in Red River, New Mexico. It was one of those beautiful crisp days with a nip in the air. About two inches of fresh powder had fallen and it was perfect. I can remember skiing down and then I stopped right before a mogul field. I looked all around and it was wonderful.
Suddenly, a girl came skiing up next to me and stopped. She said, “Boy, isn't this a beautiful place?” I said, “You're welcome.” She said, “You're welcome?” I said, “Yeah, my Father owns this mountain.” She said, “Are you serious?” I said, “Of course, He owns that mountain and that mountain.” She looked at me and she said, “Who is your father?” I said, “I’m glad you asked.” Then I began to talk to her about who Jesus was.
Wherever God takes you and whatever situation you are in, you are an ambassador for Christ. God has placed you on this planet for a purpose; the purpose is to represent Jesus. Never forget that. You are to be more rooted in who you are in Christ than in any other relationship. Do not identify yourself solely as a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, an American, a Canadian or some other thing. Your roots are to be in Christ.
This place is not our home. Do you know that? You may say, “I live here. I have lived here all my life.” This is not your home. The Bible says our citizenship is in heaven; therefore, we are to represent God at all times to point people to Christ.
Will you stand up for Him and share the good news with others today?

May I be bold and stand up for my Heavenly Father. To tell others about Jesus
I made a promise to my heavenly Father that I would witness to someone every day about the goodness of the Lord
