Lean on God in Uncertainty
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
When you are in the middle of a season of uncertainty, and have more questions than answers; do you find yourself wondering where God is in the midst of it all? Maybe you ask questions like, “God, where are you?” or “Do you really and truly care about me?” or “What are you trying to do?”
Feelings of doubt, fear, and anxiety often prompt these questions. We pay more attention to our feelings than being confident in what we know is true. Scripture promises us over and over again that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us; and that is a promise we must cling to in the midst of uncertainty.
If you are operating under a spirit of fear, it is not coming from God. Satan brings anger, fear and anxiety. If you are feeling scared and timid about making decisions, that timidity didn’t come from God. The Bible tells us that, God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7) We have access to the power, strength, and peace which comes from the Holy Spirit living inside of us. Consequently, we don’t have to be afraid in the midst of uncertain circumstances.
As we head into a new year, we have two options. We can be fearful about all that could happen in the next twelve months, or we can walk into the new year with confidence, hope, and faith. We know without a doubt that our Heavenly Father will never leave us nor forsake us! Which mentality will you carry into the new year?

He walks with me and He talks with me is the song that comes to my mind reading this devotional this morning ?
And another song comes to my mind, "MY HEAVENLY FATHER WATCHES OVER ME, and HE will do just that as we walk into the New Year, PRAISE THE LORD!!!
When you’re in a bad situation, things can really look bleak. As I sit here this morning reading these messages, it helps me to know that God is always always looking out for me and doing what’s best for me. Thank y’all so much.
I've been in situations where I wondered where God was. Why wasn't He protecting me? He was waiting to see how I would react to the situation. I know He is with me always. Wanting what is best for me.
