The Power of Community
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
As believers, our community is the body of Christ. Yes, we have a personal relationship with Jesus, but we were never meant to follow Him alone. That’s why Jesus sent His disciples out two-by-two to do ministry. He knew they would need each other. We are never called to be “Lone Ranger Christians.” Even the Lone Ranger had Tonto! He had someone with him in the fight.
Sadly, many believers live isolated lives. Whether it’s because of hurt, pride, or just the busyness of life, they convince themselves they don’t need others. But we all need people who will walk alongside us, encourage us, and keep us accountable.
God designed the Christian life to be lived in relationship. When we have people around us who are following Jesus, they help us stay strong in our faith. They lift us up when we fall, remind us of the truth when we forget, and challenge us to grow. Isolation may feel easier, but it’s not what we were made for.
If you’ve been trying to do this on your own, it’s time to step into community. Find a church. Join a small group. Reach out to a friend who will encourage you in your walk with Christ. We were never meant to do this alone.

I am so thankful that I have friends that I can reach out to whenever I need some encouragement and support ?
Yes! ...living life on purpose and not our feelings. Reach out even when we don't feel like it! We will feel better when we do because we're doing God's will in love for the betterment of others and that in turns helps us too. Thank You, Lord. ?
