Sheep and Pigs
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Do you realize why we are in conflict spiritually in our country and around the globe, concerning moral values? It is because we are under a curse. Humanity fell in the Garden of Eden. Our physical bodies are temporal, and we won’t take these particular bodies to heaven. They will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. I am looking forward to a new body that is trim. I am looking for a new body that doesn't have white hair (I'm okay with it now). I am looking forward to a new body that has all of the desired strength. That new body will come because there is no more curse.
The reason we are in conflict with each other and with moral values is because we are under a curse. We tend to love darkness more than light. This is not a political issue. The politics are just the symptom of the main root issue, and that issue has a spiritual nature.
When you see people who are in conflict with others or have immoral spiritual values, you should realize that they are choosing that because they are under the curse. They are saying, “I want my way, rather than God's way.” Because of that decision, there is conflict.
It is like the difference between a sheep and a pig. If a sheep falls into the mud, he will either get out of the mud or die trying to get out of the mud. Sheep are not comfortable in the mud, but sometimes they get stuck in ponds as they try to get close to the water. On the other hand, when a pig falls into the mud, he says, “Honey, I'm home!”
There are a lot of pigs and piglets in our country. They feel very comfortable in the mud. Don’t get mad at the pigs. You need to be praying for the pigs. After all, you used to be one of them. When you turned from your sin and placed your faith in Christ, He changed you from a pig into a sheep. God wants us to realize that one day, there will be no more curse. There will only be the sheep of God in His pasture.
