Signs Of True Revival
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14
Many of us long for revival in our nation, but what does true revival look like? It’s not about politics or temporary excitement—it’s about deep, personal transformation.
Throughout history, spiritual awakenings have started with prayer, repentance, and a renewed hunger for God’s Word. People become convicted of sin, churches are filled with worshippers, and communities are changed from the inside out.
True revival isn’t just a feeling—it leads to action. It means seeking God daily, confessing sin, and aligning your life with His Word. It means sharing your faith boldly and living in obedience.
If we want to move towards revival, it has to start with seeking revival on a personal level. With that in mind, I’d encourage you to ask yourself these questions: Is revival happening in my own heart? Do I hunger for God’s presence? Do I feel convicted of my sins? True change starts with us. If we want to see God move in our families, churches, and country, we must first let Him move in us.
Today, take one step toward revival. Set aside time for prayer. Open your Bible. Confess areas where you’ve strayed. Ask God to ignite a fresh passion for Him in your heart. When personal revival begins, it spreads.
