Avoiding Trouble
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. (John 14:1)
Do you realize that trouble is simply part of life? You can't avoid it. It is crucial to understand that through Christ we can overcome the trouble, regardless of what it is. Jesus told us, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” (John 15:18)
People will not always line up with what you believe or where you stand. They won’t necessarily believe in everything you say, especially if you stand for Christ. Our culture is fracturing as never before. We are finding out who is standing for the Lord and who is abandoning Him. Jesus said that would happen; in Matthew 10, He says, “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34)
Remember, this verse came from the mouth of Jesus. Do you know what He is saying? There will be conflicts in your life and you need to be ready for them.
Sometimes, the trouble in our lives has been brought on by our own doing; you know that is true. We can raise our hand and say, “It's my fault,” but it's still a reality. Sometimes, the trouble in our lives has been brought on by others. Due to other people, you find yourself on the receiving end and that is very difficult. Sometimes, we bring trouble into our lives by not following Christ. Even if we are following Christ, trouble can still arise in our lives.
When that happens, we must learn to trust the Lord. We have to believe that He will carry us through this trouble. We should have faith that He will deliver us. We have to trust that He will give us the comfort and the peace we need to make it through whatever trouble comes our way.

I am surrounded by neighbors that do drugs all the time. They think that is how to live life. May I be a beacon of light for Jesus so that they will want what He has to offer ðŸ™
You are the Light, have Faith, you will see God's Work. Amen!
Help Me be a good servant to you Lord JESUS !
