Diving into God’s Word
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
As you pursue Jesus and grow in your relationship with Him, the enemy will use whatever he can to deceive you and steer you down the wrong path. This is why it is so important that, as a believer, you know and read God's Word.
If you are diligent in studying your Bible, you will be able to discern what is right and what is wrong. You will readily identify the deceivers and those individuals who are being deceived, and you will be able to withstand deception yourself.
Sadly, many Christians will turn to other aspects of their faith rather than turning to the Word of God when they need discernment. We must remember that the manual for Christianity is not tradition, denomination, or cultural correctness. Rather, it is God's Word.
For many of us, we find it comforting to align ourselves with a denomination because we think it offers stability. We likely rest in tradition because it gives us a sense of stability. Sometimes, denominations go awry. Sometimes, tradition becomes a law in itself; it can bind people more than the Word of God. We need to be people of the Book, following God’s Word in everything, first and foremost.

Even the best learned person might not have the right answer for you at a certain time. I am looking up information in my Bible all the time. I am around others of different religions and want to know what God has to say
Amen!
GOD is the Answer, not religious organizations. God gives his Word. We need to Look to The Lord. He's the Answer. PRAISE JESUS.
