Praying in Faith
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)
In between the services one morning at church, a couple came up to me and reminded me of a moment in our foyer several years ago. The wife had been battling bone cancer for quite some time. The doctors had dealt with that and had healed her. However, there was a secondary problem. She developed in the same leg an infection that would not go away. She had gone to twelve different doctors and none of them were able to help. She was scheduled for surgery the next day (Monday) to address the problem.
As they shared the story, I remember all of the details. They told me this, “You saw her sitting in the wheelchair, and you just came over. You asked what was happening.” They told me what would take place the next day. “You prayed a very simple prayer. You just prayed, ‘Lord, you know her needs physically right now, and what she needs. Lord, why don’t you go ahead and do it right now, and heal her body, in Jesus’ name, Amen.’”
She went home, and woke up the next morning ready to go in for surgery. When she went into the hospital for surgery, the doctors discovered that the infection was totally gone! There was not a trace of it left in her body!
This can happen when we choose to pray in faith. When we pray big prayers, God is more than capable of answering them. When we pray in accordance with His will, He answers us in ways that are so far beyond anything we could ask for or imagine.
When was the last time you prayed in faith? You didn’t just go through the motions of praying, but you prayed wholeheartedly, believing God would answer your request, no matter how impossible it seemed. If it has been a while, I would encourage you to bring to Jesus whatever is weighing on your heart. Pray bold prayers. Pray in faith, and trust that He will work all things together for your good and His ultimate glory.

Thank you for this beautiful and gentle reminder to cast our cares on Him with our whole heart. He is able. We must pray boldly and in faith for His will. As we make our requests known to God our Father, He hears our cry......feels our anguish and answers prayer. I believe in the power of prayer. I have felt God's hand of goodness and mercy on my life many times. At times, these prayers were answered as others petitioned the Lord on my behalf. Let's come together with Thanksgiving, boldly thanking God and encouraging those around us.
I have noticed over the years that God seems to honor prayers that are:
1. Out loud
2. Bold and believing
3. With genuine tears.
He seems to get serious when we get serious and contrite.
May I pray believing that God will answer me. May I accept His answer.
I Believe that GOD is available when We make ourselves available. Praying in faith gets responsible answers. PRAISE GOD and Ask for His Will . We will become blessed with the Answer ! PRAISE JESUS
Sometimes it's so hard to be patient when you are ill....you just have to have faith if it is God's will
