How To Honor God
As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. (Matthew 27:57-60)
Honoring God should be one of our main goals as His followers and His children. You might be wondering, “How am I supposed to honor God?” These are a few ways to do that:
1). We honor God by giving sacrificially.
First of all, we honor God by giving sacrificially. There is no doubt about it, the tomb that Joseph gave sacrificially had been customized for him and his family. It was a gift that said, “Jesus, You are to be honored above all things.” It was his possession, but Joseph chose to give it. I want to encourage you to honor God with everything He gives you, both your money and your talents. You are to use all that God has given you to honor Him.
2). We honor God by serving graciously.
We also honor God by serving graciously. It is very important that we serve graciously. For many of us, we have become disconnected from the people we love.
We need to move back into relationships with others because you cannot serve graciously if you are disconnected. You honor God by choosing to move into connection, by being a blessing to other people, and by being the Lord's hands and feet. I pray that you would embrace that.
3). We honor God by seeking Him.
Finally, we honor God by seeking Him. Nothing is more important in our lives than when we begin to seek the Lord. Many of us have lost the discipline of learning how to seek Him. We have lost the accountability that others have provided. We have stopped personal Bible study, and we have lived a life full of fear. I believe these last two years have taught us that this entire globe can be controlled by one thing, and that is fear. This is why we need to come back to the disciplines of seeking God in prayer and seeking God through His Word.
I pray that you will implement these three actions into your daily life so that you may honor God with everything you have. May the Lord bless you as you honor and obey Him each day.

Joseph's gift was very temporary. The tomb was used for three days.
All of our gifts are temporary but God causes them to have a long lasting impact for His Glory
I agree !
I agree with Robert. I us my talents for my Lord..I try each day to honor Him but it seems to be never enough. I know He loves me so much and all of us
Remember to walk by faith and not by feelings, which is easier said than done, that's why I will remember to pray for you tomorrow as well as anything else you want me to pray for on your behalf. May God bless you, dear sister through Christ! ðŸ™
Everything We have Comes from GOD. Help Me Lord to Honor YOU . PRAISE and Glory to The FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT on this Holy Day. I Love JESUS !
MOSES a testimony of things which were to be spoken ( Hebrews 3:5); "Then Moses said to the Lord, "Look, you have been telling me, "Lead this people up, but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, "I know you by name, and you have found favor in my SIGHT."
Honor the Holy Father of His Righteousness gives favor in our obedience as Moses did in : Exodus 32:11, 33:12, and Exodus 33:17. Boldly Moses stood before the Lord in Righteousness to Honor HaShem. AMEN Amen
