Stand for the Truth
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)
When we live in a culture that has decided to go by its playbook, rather than God's plan, we find ourselves upside down. Unfortunately, we think we are right-side-up. Our children and grandchildren are being inoculated by our culture and our media, with everything that is biblically wrong. Living together has become so acceptable that many students and children don't understand that it is called “adultery.” We have made excuses for our sexual behavior. That's why the judgment of God is coming.
As believers, we need to make sure that we don't mind taking a stand for what is right. You might say, “I want to stand for what is right, but I don't want to offend anyone.” When you stand for what is right and stand on the Word of God, you will offend some people. My mom used to tell me, “Son, if you want to get people all sideways with you, talk about religion or politics.” I can't help it because the Word of God says that judgment is coming on this planet because of our politics and our “new religion.” This new religion is nothing other than the old satanic agenda.
I want to encourage you today: stand tall and don't back down. I know that you might have family members (some are biological and some are extended) who have different opinions than you. You work with people who have a different mindset, and you have sought to give them all the grace in the world. Remember, God wants His church to be The Church. As children of God, be salt and light, even in areas that don’t want salt and places that don't want light. You are to stand as a witness against all odds. As long as God gives you breath, you don't have to be angry with people. You just need to stand for the truth.
Stand for the truth! When you stand for the truth, you are standing with Jesus. That is what He calls you to do.

Dr. Dodd, Thank you for always speaking the truth. In today's time, when everything is so crazy, and worldly truth is so distorted, believers need to be strong and stand for God's truth. I appreciate that you encourage us to do just that. God's blessings on your ministry.
Thank you for this message Dr. Dodd. I'm eighty three years old and I've never seen the world as bad as it is now. Just like it says in the Holy Bible in the end times it will be like Sodom and Gomorrah. I left my church of many years because of policies they were supporting that are very wrong and I also had a teacher there who said "I no longer believe. I think I believe." How sad it is and our only hope is to have a great turning back to God which I pray for. I listen to you on Sundays from my easy chair here in Michigan and I appreciate your teachings with the extensive Bible verses that you put up. God bless you for your ministry.
You are right on brother, people don't want to hear about adulterous living or polluted, that's why we don't hear messages in our local churches concerning those issues.
It sure is a different world filled with unbelief, violence and threats. Only with God on our side can we be safe. Thank you for a timely devotion
Yes, people look at Christians as if they are from a different planet. It is very difficult to tell them about Jesus. But as believers we still need to keep planting the seeds. It is very sad to see people thinking that it is okay to live any way they want to
