How Does God See Me?
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:13)
When you look at wrath and what is to come in the end times, you have to ask yourself, “How does God see me?” When He looks at me, does He see me like those who do not know Christ? Ephesians 2 tells us that “those who do not know Christ are objects of God's wrath.”
I will tell you this very soberly: “If you do not know Christ, you have never repented of your sin, and you have never placed your faith in Christ; you are targeted in the scope of God’s wrath.” This is not a shotgun; this is a rifle shot. This is an arrow aimed straight at you. If you do not know Christ, you are the object of God’s wrath. That's why you need to get saved. One person told me, “The only reason I got saved is that I didn't want to go to hell.” That is a very good reason!
Please take note. If you can never think of a moment in time when you turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ, you have a target on you right now. You are an object of God's wrath.
However, if you have turned from your sin and truly asked Jesus to come inside your life, He has forgiven you. You are an object of His blessing. Christ’s blood has covered you. You are forgiven and you are a child of the Kingdom. You are not under the judgment of God. The judgment of God was poured on Christ, but you are in a safe place. The Bible tells us that once you are saved, you will always be saved, and you won’t lose your salvation. The efficacy and power of the blood of Jesus will last forever.
You might say, “I have blown it so many times since I gave my life to Christ.” The moment you turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ, the blood of Christ covers you. This happens whether you were 5, 20, 25, 50, or 85. You are saved from all of your sins in the past, present and future.
However, if you continue sinning on purpose, you have to wonder, did you truly repent? A child of God will never be content in the posture of sin if they have been covered by the blood of Jesus in the past. If you have accepted Christ and surrendered your life to Him, you are safe and secure. You should know that you can breathe. This doesn't give you license to sin. Rather, it should motivate you to live for the glory of God, because you are forgiven. How does God see you? Only you can answer that question right now.

Thank you for another great devotion. I have turned my life over to Christ and it is so wonderful, the path that He is taking me.
I have turned my life over to Christ. I can't imagine life without Him. I see people around me who don't live their lives for Jesus and have no hope. It is hard to get them to listen.
