Falling at Jesus’ Feet
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.” (Revelation 1:17)
This verse describes a personal encounter that John had with Jesus. When John saw Jesus, he fell at His feet like dead. It completely overpowered him.
Think about that for a minute. Have you ever had an experience like that with the Lord? We think about worship as being corporate. It is true that worship is corporate, but your posture does not create a worship experience. Rather, your worship experience transforms your posture. Does that make sense to you? I pray that you would realize that God wants to be very real to you.
This was a personal time between the Lord and John. Without any hesitation, John fell at His feet as though dead. You don't find any other time in John's Gospel when he falls at the feet of Jesus as though dead. Now in the Book of Revelation, he falls at Christ’s feet. This was because John saw Him for who He really was and it overpowered him.
I pray that you would long for that kind of encounter with God, where it so overwhelms you that you are willing to go prostrate on your face. You are not doing this just to have an experience. Because of this encounter with Christ, you cannot help what you are doing. According to this image, the appropriate response to being in God's presence is to lay prostrate on your face.

I had one time years ago where I had a dream that I was in the presence of God. I didn't see Him but could feel everything that He is. I could feel all the love which was very overpowering. I wanted to go to Him yet felt a sense of wanting to bow down in His presence. It wasn't my time to go to Him yet so the dream ended. I know I belong to Him
I believe that GOD is WORTHY of Our Prayers. He has given ME everything I have ever had. God Has Blessed ME every Day of My Life. Thank YOU FATHER, GLORY GLORY GLORY !
