Bless Your Children
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
These are some more ways you can bless your children:
The fourth thing you can do to bless your children is to speak, because you know the power of your words. Do you realize how powerful your words are? Your actions back up your words, but we bless our children with words because they need them. The words of a father stick like glue. I read a study recently that found children are more affected by the parent who has the most power. It has been said that mothers make the greatest impact, but I know some studies indicate that fathers have a very large impact. Their words can wound, or their words can heal. They can either be a launch pad to success or a springboard into defeat. We need to know that our words have power.
Fifth, encourage your children to walk with God. Jacob did that with Joseph. He was saying, “God has His hands around you. He is helping you pull the bow back. He has His hand on you.” Jacob was encouraging Joseph to continue walking with God. One of the greatest things you could ever do is to teach your children how to come to faith in Jesus and encourage them to keep walking with Christ.
Sixth, bless them, because if you don’t, someone else will. It is important that you realize, if you don't bless your children, God will raise someone else up to bless them. Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the great preacher of yesteryear, related how another man had blessed him as a child. Spurgeon remembered this man putting him on his lap, blessing him and saying that God was going to use him. This was even before Spurgeon was converted at age 15. The impact of this man on Spurgeon’s life was huge. The words that someone else had spoken into his life charted his course for the days to come.
It is important that we understand we are to be men and women who bless our children, because God has blessed them. If God is the ultimate example of being a parent, we should follow suit and encourage our children as much as we can while we are here on this earth. I pray that you will be mindful of how you can be a blessing to your children. God will use you to impact their lives and ultimately their walk with the Lord in a mighty way.

Greetings Everyone...My name is Imelda Araiza and I teach at aTitle 1 school Reading Language Arts at Eastwood Middle School in El Paso, Tx. Times are tough in Education now a days and I want to make sure my students have the materials and experiences they need to succeed, so I created a request on DonorsChoose in the following link:

nThank you in advance for your consideration to this project, and God Bless.
Raising children is important job, likewise helping to navigate parenting teaches you patience. Having patience to hold your tongue and let them do what you have taught your children you only what you taught them helps them use what you taught your children. There are only so much you could do for your children, hopefully you kept Christ first in their
nlives. That is key to being a successful parent. Being a successful parent will allow you to be successful grandparent. You can teach your grqndchildren about the past, your experiences, and help grandchildren prepare for their future. Then you can spoil them and send them back to their parents, and smile for job done well.
