Just Share
“For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” (Luke 12:12)
I love the story of D.L. Moody. It all began in 1858 when D.L. Moody was a shoe clerk in Boston. At the time, he was involved in a Bible study class, and he had a Bible teacher by the name of Kimball.
Because he was broken over the spiritual condition of his students, Kimball showed up one day in the back room of the shoe store where D.L. Moody was working. Kimball sat down with Moody and suddenly began to weep, showing how heartbroken he was for Moody. He said, “D.L., I’m concerned about your soul.” He was so upset that he lost his composure and couldn’t even speak. Because all he could do was cry, he excused himself and walked out of the store.
D.L. Moody couldn’t believe what he had just experienced. He began to think to himself, “That man is more concerned about my soul than I am.” That very afternoon, D.L. Moody turned from his sin and placed his faith in Christ.
In this interaction, Kimball didn’t share the four spiritual laws. He didn’t go through the Romans Road of Salvation. He just said, “D.L., I’m concerned about your soul.” He was broken for his lost friend, and expressing that brokenness was all it took.
God moves in the hearts of people when He wants them to share Christ with someone, just like He moves in the hearts of the people He chooses to hear the message. If God is placing on your heart a desire to share your faith with someone, don’t worry about what you will say. God will give you the right words. All you must do is be obedient and just share; He will take care of the rest.

This is so true. I have helped a couple of people accept Christ. They just have to be willing to accept the free gift of Jesus as Savior
