Are You Ready?
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
Let me ask you a question, “If Jesus came today, are you ready?” If Jesus came today before this service ended, would you go to heaven with Him? Has there been a moment in your life when you turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ? Have you given your life to Christ? Are you ready for Christ’s return? If it happened today, are you ready? Are you ready?
If you are depending upon, “I took communion last month,” you are not ready. If you are counting on, “I grew up going to Sunday School, you are not ready. You might say, “I'm a member of the church.” If that is where your hope is based, you are not ready to go. You could say, “I was sprinkled,” or “I even got dunked.” If that is your focus, you are not ready. Sadly, you will be left behind.
This is the correct answer. You know you are ready if there has been a moment in your life when there has come a conviction of your personal sin, a sense of separateness from God. Because of that sin and brokenness in your heart, because of that rebellion; there came a moment when you fell at the feet of Jesus and asked Him to come inside your life. You asked Him to forgive you of all your sin and take control of your life. If you have had a moment like that, you are ready! So, let me ask you a question. Are you ready?

I AM ready! I gave my life to the Lord in June of 1992 at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Houston and my life has never been the same! The awakening I had when I confessed my sins with the commitment to turn from sin and be renewed in following Him.....will always be a reminder of the "renewing of my mind" and the "dedication of my heart" as I look forward to some day seeing Him face to face! I am truly blessed!
Yes, I am ready. I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and live my life for Him
I confess all the time that Jesus Christ was God and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. I had a circumcision of the heart.
I love to write checks for a tighe and an offering. I and my mother both got a miracle from God in 204, at the Quest center. I know what God's wants me to do and I do it.
Once I started to obey God. I received a lot of answered prayers and blessings. Every verse in the Bible is true.
Romans 10:9 is so inclusive while Matt 7:21 is frightenly exclusive. I have a history of being marginalized in life and have ADHD and high-functioning anxiety but I muddle through and appear reasonably normal. My question is this: Which verse do I put my faith in? The Romans verse allows me entrance into the Kingdom but Matthew 7:21 tells me I will be marginalized for eternity for reasons I find vague and somewhat capricious.
I know I am a sinner and fall profoundly short of any sort of perfection. I repent yet I don't know if worldly rejection causes me to see Jesus also finding me wanting.
God Will decide if I am Ready. I BELIEVE JESUS has made ME Ready. PRAISE God Almighty ,
