Fully Trusting God
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received…There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:1,4-6)
I have seen many Christians struggle with trust over the years. We often find it difficult to trust God when life doesn’t seem to be going the way we envisioned. When we walk into a difficult or unforeseen season, we immediately start questioning God instead of choosing to trust Him.
If you are a follower of Christ, there was a time when you made the decision to surrender your life to God and trust Him with your eternity. You believed wholeheartedly that by making this decision to follow Him and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior, you would be spending eternity with Him in heaven. If you were able to trust God with your eternity, why is it so difficult for you to trust Him with what you are going through right now?
When we choose not to trust God with our lives and try to take matters into our own hands, we are attempting to be our own god. As Jesus-followers, we are called to turn everything over to Him, and not attempt to handle things by ourselves. If you are a Christian, you completely surrender your life to Christ; and that cannot happen without trust.
Are you fully trusting God with your life right now? Are you trying to handle things on your own? Is He Lord of all, or Lord of just a little bit? Remember, if God can be trusted with your eternity, He can be trusted with your present circumstances, as well. I pray that you will stop trying to help God do His job, and fully trust Him.

Thank you for this timely message, and your clearly, impassioned messages on Sundays.
So, many uncertain days ahead. We ( believers) seem to comfort ourselves, with His Word, but my heart is overwhelmed with the hearts that have been drawn away as though an invisible wolf has drawn a sheep from the edges of the fray. I speak of my personal experience ( son), as well as others who have never known, the God I know. I pray as His word says, more laborer's into the harvest.
I find it ever so difficult, to live at piece knowing, there are those still, gripped by torment. I pray all the more.
I don't have a question. Only to comment. Thank you for your heart.
Faithfully His. Knowing it's always darkest before the dawn. Hear our prayers Oh, Lord. And Answer, in Jesus name.
the seasons can take a toll on me I struggle at times trusting GOD 🙠praying through it being in the word and serving helps
It is hard to trust God when I am going through a difficult time. But I don't make any moves without consulting Him first. He guides me through it all
I sometimes lack patience, waiting for God's timing. Trying to help GOD with My prayers and needs is foolish. GOD always is on time with The right answer. PRAISE God and Thank You LORD ! FAITH, GLORY and Patience. 🎆🎑ðŸ˜
