Wait in Obedience
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4)
From the early Christians, we learn that they were obedient. They waited when they were told to do so. Jesus told them, “Don't leave Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes.” (Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:4) When the Holy Spirit came upon them during Pentecost, they stayed and remained in that upper room. They were together and they weren't going anywhere until God moved.
With many of us, we want to move before God gives us His direction, and we miss it. We miss His hand on our lives because we are too quick to respond, and slow to obey. I am sure it is true in your life; it is true in mine and true in our church.
If we will ever see God do a great work in our country, it will be because Christians are obedient. Are you being obedient right now? Are you doing everything that God wants you to do? Are you lined up in every area of your life like God desires? Are you treating your family members with respect? Are you treating your husband, your wife, your children, and your parents with respect?
If not, I encourage you to repent of your disobedience right now and begin to walk down a path of obedience to Christ. As you do, you will never regret following His lead.

Help Me Lord to be Faithful TO GOD' S WILL. GLORY TO GOD , PRAISE JESUS !🎑🎆
Please pray that I can have a forgiving heart towards my prodigal son that left our family for 23 years and wouldn't let us have anything to do with our three grandchildren. I need to be able to forgive the past and enjoy the future with the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. Thank you. It has been a long struggle.
