What Are Feeling You Anxious About?
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7
If you want to destroy the curse of anxiety, you need to unmask the spiritual problem in your life. When we experience anxiety, we are ultimately dealing with a spiritual problem. Now don’t get me wrong. Anxiety does have physical repercussions, but at its root, it is a spiritual problem. Do you know what that problem is? It is believing that God does not care for you.
If someone gets worked up about things they don't believe, what they are saying with their mouth has not yet hit their heart and mind. They might be saying with their mouth, “God loves me and cares about me,” but they are not feeling the words.
In other words, anxiety says, “God is out to get me. God is trying to judge me, and He doesn't care about me. Because He doesn't care about me, I am on my own and I must work this thing out by myself.”
It is this type of thought pattern that causes us to dwell on the hard parts of life and become obsessed with trying to control our circumstances and remedy our struggles.
When we think about things like this so much, we become consumed. This type of thinking sucks the spiritual, emotional, and physical energy out of our lives. Because we have this supposition that God doesn't care about us, and it is all on us, we think we have to handle it. Anxiety says, “We don't believe that God cares for us and has a remarkable plan for our lives.” But we have to remember the truth of God’s Word and tell ourselves what is actually true.
God does care for us. He loves us. He’s always there for us. And He has an incredible plan for our lives. He has everything under control, and there’s nothing we have to handle all on our own. We can rely on Him. We can trust Him. And we can have faith in His sovereign plan. If you’re struggling with anxiety today, I pray that you will meditate on these truths and let the reality of God’s love and care for you bring you comfort and peace.

Thank You, Heavenly Father for loving and caring for me
I will trust the Lord with all my heart
Amen!
Your message today was exactly what I needed.
Glory be to God...
I had a lot of anxieties the last few weeks at work. I prayed and prayed. Believe it or not, the Lord answered that prayer and took care of that situation last evening. Praise be to God, He does care about His people. He will NEVER allow us more than what we can handle. A great relationship with God is the KEY to life. He is the path. /*-/
