It Is as You Will
“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” (Mark 8:35)
Years ago, a little boy had captured a small, helpless bird. He went to an old wise man in his village and he put the bird behind his back. He looked at the man and said, “Old man, tell me, Is the bird I hold in my hand, is it alive, or is it dead?”
The wise man thought for a moment. He reasoned to himself and he thought, “If I say dead, he will just release the bird alive and it will fly away. Or if I say alive, he will crush that little bird in his hand and take its life.” Wisely, he looked at the boy and said, “It is as you will. It is as you will.”
Today, I need to tell you about your relationship and your walk with Jesus. It is as you will. You are where you are right now because you have willed it. You have chosen to say “Yes” to Christ.
For you who are saying “Yes” to Christ, you are experiencing His peace, direction, and provision in your life. If you have given over control of any area in your life that does not align with God and His Word, get ready. You will receive the fruit of your decisions in your life. I promise that it will affect you, your family, and even those outside. What will you do? “It is as you will.”
Your spiritual life will be as you will. I pray that you would begin to walk with Jesus like you first began the walk with Him. When you first said “Yes” to Him, you were all in. Stop being halfway out and halfway in; get all the way in for Jesus. This is the time when believers need to wake up and act.
God has a plan; He wants you to impact your family, friends, and all of those around you. This is the time for you as a believer to stand for Jesus. Today, I pray that you would be all in for Jesus!

It's hard to see devotionals that brings fear to someone who may be struggling with thinking they're in God's will or not exactly. Someone who still trusts God. and walks with Jesus. The fear of YOUR promise in this devotional..
I always want to be following Jesus. There are so many lost people out there. And family members that don't understand that following Jesus is a pleasure and not a time consuming chore
I am ALL IN for Jesus! I have loved the Lord and loved going to church at a young age. Thank you, Dr. Dodd for another great devotional and reminder that we need to be ALL IN for the Lord and not HALF IN. We must choose either we are FOR Him or AGAINST HIM... He LOVES each of US with ALL His being and I believe that!
God is Love, PRAISE THE LORD !
