Faith In The Midst Of Trials
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1
Let’s say you owe $100,000 and you went to your bank. You sat down with the banker and said, “I need $100,000, Can you take care of this issue?” The banker says, “Sure, I will be glad to loan you $100,000.” This is not a trial because you have a solution. If he says, “No, I wouldn't loan you 10 cents, but we surely love your business,” that's a trial. A trial is when you have a problem without an immediate solution.
This is where faith comes in. When you are in the midst of a trial, you will begin to trust God. When God creates a scenario in your life or allows a scenario to develop where there is no solution, that is where faith enters the picture. Maybe there is no solution with one of your kids, no solution with your health, no solution with a job, or no solution with a relationship, and you say, “What am I going to do?” This is where faith comes in.
We get our biblical definition of faith from the book of Hebrews, which says, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1).
I remember the first time I read this, I wondered, “How can you be sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see?” When you offer a statement like this, it doesn't make sense to the majority of people. But faith comes in when things don’t make sense. And as believers, we have something that helps us be sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see, and that is the Word of God.
Faith is built on the Word of God. Faith is taking His Word and saying, “I choose to believe.” If you know Christ as Lord of your life, and you have a relationship with Christ, you have turned from sin and placed your faith in Christ, you are exercising faith.
When you believe in His finished work on the cross, believe He died on the cross, shed His perfect blood for you, and rose from the dead, you are exercising faith. You are basing your eternal life on the finished work of Christ because that is what the Bible says you are to do.

Without faith or a relationship with God,
We have no Hope, I just lost my husband of 59 yrs, I have hope and a daughter on heaven, she died ,two yrs ago with with breast cancer,
MY FAITH IS IN THE LORD ♥ï¸
Karen what faithfulness you have during this season praying
Thank and praise God for your deceased daughters life and for the 59 years of marriage he gave you with your husband. Please remember, when a love one passes, it's never goodbye for the Christian, instead, it is always "I will see you again tomorrow." Have faith you will be reunited with your daughter and husband again in heaven.
