Jesus Understands Your Pain
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:14-15)
When you are going through a difficult time, it is easy to think that no one understands your situation. The feeling of being isolated creeps in, making you believe that you have to work through this tough season on your own.
As followers of Christ, we don’t have to think this way. Scripture contains promise after promise to remind us that Jesus is not only with us through hard times, but He can empathize with what we are feeling.
What an amazing and comforting promise this is! The author of Hebrews is reassuring you that no matter what you are dealing with – pain, agony, disappointment, depression, anxiousness, heartbreak; Jesus understands exactly how you feel. He understands because He felt all of these things while He was on this earth. He was hurt, betrayed, and disappointed by so many people, including some of His closest friends.
Whatever you are dealing with today, I pray that you realize you don’t have to walk through this difficult season alone. Jesus died a horrible, brutal death, so He could have a relationship with you. He wants you to experience His unconditional love, and He desires to walk with you through all the highs and lows of life. Turn to Him today. Seek comfort in His presence, and rest in knowing that He understands exactly what you are feeling and what you need to keep persevering.

This came at a perfect time... these words will sustain me. Thank you lord
I know Jesus understands my situations. I try not to sin during those times. I'm not as strong as Jesus. But I know He will see me through anything. I am thankful that Jesus loves me so much â¤
No matter how much difficulties I have being deaf, Jesus has ALWAYS come through for me. I've been through so much in my lifetime, I have done everything I can to keep positive. Jesus' promises keeps me upbeat. Sure, I've slipped so many times, who hasn't? I am so grateful for a King that is so unfathomably incredible and amazing. Jesus is just awesome!
THANK You for the reassurance, I fell and broke my right shoulder, feeling discouraged this morning.
