Falling at Jesus’ Feet
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.” (Revelation 1:17)
This verse describes a personal encounter that John had with Jesus. When John saw Jesus, he fell at His feet like dead. It completely overpowered him.
Think about that for a minute. Have you ever had an experience like that with the Lord? We think about worship as being corporate. It is true that worship is corporate, but your posture does not create a worship experience. Rather, your worship experience transforms your posture. Does that make sense to you? I pray that you would realize that God wants to be very real to you.
This was a personal time between the Lord and John. Without any hesitation, John fell at His feet as though dead. You don't find any other time in John's Gospel when he falls at the feet of Jesus as though dead. Now in the Book of Revelation, he falls at Christ’s feet. This was because John saw Him for who He really was and it overpowered him.
I pray that you would long for that kind of encounter with God, where it so overwhelms you that you are willing to go prostrate on your face. You are not doing this just to have an experience. Because of this encounter with Christ, you cannot help what you are doing. According to this image, the appropriate response to being in God's presence is to lay prostrate on your face.

Years ago a had 3 dreams one after another that God gave to me. In 2 of those He touched me with His love. In one of those dreams I found myself at an invisible doorway. I could sense all the love God has for me. I found myself instantly wanting to bow down to be in such a wonderful presence. That love was so overwhelming. And I know He loves me and still has love for each one of us
Thank you Betty for your strong message.
Believe ! Praise God ,the Father.
I know someone who has gone through two of these experiences and the way her life changed has been a great example for the people around her.
