A Salvation Moment
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." - Ephesians 2:8
It’s sad how so many people in our world today have misunderstood salvation, thinking it is a gradual process or something achieved through our own good deeds. But true salvation happens in a singular, transformative moment. It's not about being baptized, attending church, or being a good person, but about a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
When we grasp the truth of Ephesians 2:8, we understand that salvation is a gift freely given by God's grace, received through faith in Jesus. Consider the thief on the cross next to Jesus. In his final moments, he acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior, and Jesus promised him paradise (Luke 23:39-43). It wasn't about any religious rituals or good deeds he could perform; it was about his faith in Jesus.
