A Salvation Moment
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." - Ephesians 2:8
It’s sad how so many people in our world today have misunderstood salvation, thinking it is a gradual process or something achieved through our own good deeds. But true salvation happens in a singular, transformative moment. It's not about being baptized, attending church, or being a good person, but about a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
When we grasp the truth of Ephesians 2:8, we understand that salvation is a gift freely given by God's grace, received through faith in Jesus. It's not about what we do, but about what He has done for us on the cross. The moment we surrender our lives to Him, believing in His sacrifice for our sins, we are saved.
Consider the thief on the cross next to Jesus. In his final moments, he acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior, and Jesus promised him paradise (Luke 23:39-43). It wasn't about any religious rituals or good deeds he could perform; it was about his faith in Jesus.
Salvation is a once-and-for-all decision. When we genuinely repent of our sins and place our trust in Jesus, we are transformed from the inside out. Our old selves are crucified with Christ, and we are made new creations in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I hope these reminders about salvation are an encouragement to you. Remember, it's not about what we bring to the table but about receiving the gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Embrace His love, surrender your life to Him, and experience the fullness of salvation today.

When I was a child, I thought you needed to be baptized so that you could go to heaven. When I was 11 I accepted Jesus as my Savior. But, I didn't realize that I needed to give Him my all until I was 43 years old. I am now a born again believer. I wish everyone was
