Trusting God’s Plan For Eternity

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. – Matthew 24:42-44

It is very important for us to have a good handle on what the Scripture says about the events happening in our world and God's plan for the future. If there was ever a time when we should speak intelligently with conviction (historically and Biblically), it is now.

Sadly, many people are simply clueless, but God doesn't want you to live cluelessly. He does not want you to live in fear. Instead, He wants you to not only lead your families to believe the right things, but also to speak as His representative to other people who don't know Christ. He wants you to have peace in the middle of the turmoil that is happening on our planet.

When Iran fired 300 missiles and drones at Israel, the U.S., Israel, United Kingdom, and Jordan shot down 99 % of them. One drone made it through to a military base in northern Israel.
That drone did minimal damage. Fighter jets and the defensive weapon systems were highly successful in fending off the vicious Iranian attack. That is a miracle in itself!

However, this begs the question, “Could this be the beginning of the end?” Scripture reveals various prophecies concerning the Second Coming of Christ. And all of the Biblical prophecies have been fulfilled for Jesus’ return. We are not waiting for any more Biblical prophecies to take place in order for Christ to come.

Our generation is poised to see the landscape from a different perspective. It is my goal for you as a child of God to be prepared intellectually, academically, and culturally. You need to see what is happening in our culture and on this planet. As you gain understanding of what’s happening, God wants you to have peace and understand that He is in charge, and He has a plan for all of eternity.

That being said, don’t be afraid of what you see on the news. Don’t let what you read in Revelation make you anxious and worried for the future. Instead, sit in the comfort and presence of your Heavenly Father and believe that He is going to take care of you and His plan for the future cannot be thwarted.
